Coral Bay is about 15 minutes' drive from Paphos in south-west Cyprus. It is famous for having the best sandy beach on the island with safe swimming and many sport facilities. The beautiful sandy cove of Coral Bay is likely to satisfy those disappointed by the quality of beaches near Paphos.  However, you can't expect to find peace and tranquility: Coral Bay is popular with locals and tourists alike, and is served by a public bus to and from Paphos.

n truth, Coral Bay is another place where a grate tourist complex has been built, between the beach and the main road, (about 10 minutes from the beach),  with apartments, shops, supermarkets and restaurants, some of which are very good. 

Taverns, restaurants and bars serve fresh fish and typical Cypriot dishes such as kebabs, souvla and kleftiko.
